My telescope, used for my astrophotography. It's a Tasco brand 4.5" Newtonian reflector. I've had it for several years, and never cleaned or collimated it, yet it still "looks" quite well. I'm in the market for a good-quality 6" reflector that doesn't break my bank....any suggestions?

The camera used to take the following pictures was a Nikon Coolpix 775. I have since graduated to a Nikon 4300, and will be graduating to something better in the near future.

The first 3 pictures are one right after the other, the 4th is another time.

A couple shots of Mars. I cropped these since 99.999% of the pictures were black. :-)

The next sequence of pictures were taken by me as we watched an annular solar eclipse. This was on June 10th, 2002, and we had 65% coverage. I used 4 pairs of sunglasses lenses to take the first two pictures. I later found out this was a no-no. Oops! The camera showed no later vision problems, thankfully. I took the last two through the tinted glass of our car window, since the sun was very low and not very bright by then.
