I am a born-again Christian who agrees with Reformed theology. My family and I attend a PCA (Presbyterian Church in America) church, and enjoy it very much! We do not agree with the Auburn Avenue theology (you fellow reformed folks will know what I am referring to :).)
I believe that the world was created in 6 literal, 24-hour days, anywhere from 6000-10,000 years ago. (Creation)
I believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)
I like to use the New King James Bible for reading, though I also enjoy reading the old King James version.
I dress very modestly, but don't wear dresses all the time. And yes, I occasionally cut my hair!
I don't think that a man and woman have to go out on dates to get to know each other. Getting to know one another can be done just as easily in a family setting, meaning you are always around each other's families instead of alone. This setting takes away any "appearance of evil" that the Bible talks about, and also takes away the temptation to do something you would regret. I believe it's VERY important to save both your body and mind for ONE person until after you're married. In fact, the Bible says that fornication (intimacy before marriage) is wrong! I haven't met anyone yet who has regretted saving themselves for marriage. :)
I believe that life begins immediately at conception. And that abortion for ANY reason is murder. God gives life and He takes it away. Death is his responsibility, not ours.
