Hat Measurements

Use a flexible measuring tape and measure around the widest part of the head.

Just send me the exact measurement, and I will make the hat so that it will fit perfectly. The hat diameter should be about 1/2 to 1 inch smaller than the head measurement, to ensure a comfortably snug fit.

Also the type of yarn depends on how big the hat should be. Regular yarn is stretchier than baby yarn, so a hat made with regular yarn might appear to be a little smaller than it should be. But don't worry. :)
